What we collect

When you use our call back form we collect the details you enter: your first and last name, email address, phone and mobile numbers, the job address and your description of the job. If you phone or message us, we keep the details you give us so we can deal with your enquiry.

Our website also keeps simple visitor statistics, so we can see which pages are used, how people found the site and when someone taps our phone number. We use Google reCAPTCHA on the call back form to stop spam, and Google Ads tools to see which of our adverts lead to calls and enquiries.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit, give you a quote and carry out and invoice work you ask us to do. Our legal basis is that this is needed to respond to your request or to take steps toward a contract with you, and, for follow-up about your enquiry, our legitimate interest in running our business. We also keep records we are required to keep for tax and accounting.

Who sees it

Only Greentec Electrical Ltd and the companies that help us run the website and our business, such as our website host and email provider. We do not sell your details or use them to send you marketing you haven't asked for. After a job we may email you once to ask for a review.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work: 12 months. Customer and job records: 6 years, to match tax and accounting rules.

Your rights

You can ask us to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our using it. Contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
